Jess Forbes

Hello, my name is Jess! I am a big fan of any kind of music, and I love animals too! I have a dog called Alfie, and we go for beach/park walks every day. I am pretty easy going, and I love chatting to students about what they love doing. I also enjoy going for runs, listening to music and reading.

I am currently studying a Bachelor of Laws. I chose this degree because I loved English and Legal studies in high school and I wanted to enter into a profession where I could use my love of reading and writing to help others.

My strengths include helping students in junior and high school improve their English skills by making their work personal and fun for them, as well as teaching them how to read over their work and edit well. I feel that I am a great tutor because students can chat to me about what they like and dislike about school, and I will help them figure out how to make the parts they don’t like more fun! That way school work becomes much easier.
