Hello, my name is Jamie!

I’m a third-year student at Sydney Uni, studying commerce; majoring in finance and management, with one year to go. I grew up on a small farm in Quirindi NSW, however, I spend much of my free time in the mountains, teaching skiing. I feel that I am easy going, happy, enthusiastic, and driven. I love the outdoors, skiing, hiking, trail, running etc.

I am currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Advanced Studies. I chose this degree because commerce is relevant to most career paths, providing me with a broad skillset and knowledge base. I’d say my ability to juggle better than the average juggler often impresses people considering my often clumsy nature. Additional core strengths are the ability to connect with people from all walks of life, creative, and abstract problem-solving skills.

I feel that I am a great tutor because I am always down for a good laugh and chat. I really enjoy teaching all sorts of things, academics and sport; so I think my passion and care for students should be at the forefront of my description of me as a tutor.
