ABOUT ME

Hello, my name is Dhvnil!

I am a very analytical person who always questions things that go around me. I love learning new things especially systems and programs and breaking things apart. I love to make things work, especially if it is difficult and see past the limitation of a situation. I’m very direct and explain things clearly, and I am very positive and see the bright side. of things. I’m also kind and always about helping others and I’m creative by always thinking a different way to approach situations. My hobbies include watching f1 racing, playing basketball or soccer, listening to music of all kinds, playing chess, and cooking.

I am currently studying a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (structures). I chose this degree because I highly enjoy the construction field and especially mathematics. I am very hands on and love applying theory practically. Civil engineering allows me to understand principles of the world and practically apply them. I also love challenges and engineering as a field is all about embracing difficult problems which is what motivates to complete my degree. I am very patient, have great problem solving ability, am very flexible, learn very quickly and I can think fast on my feet.

I believe I am a great tutor because I try to understand the reasons why a student Isn’t able to effectively study. I never try to force content and I always think of tutoring as teaching how students how to be effective learner. My main principle is that “practice doesn’t make perfect but perfect practice does” and so I always strive to correct behaviours, thoughts and attitudes to help drive students to their goals.
