Elsie Anderson

Hello! My name is Elsie and I am the Head of Resource Development! I am an outgoing, enthusiastic and happy graduate teacher, who has a passion for motivating others and seeing them grow. I consider myself to be understanding and empathetic and I am a passionate reader who loves a wide range of genres, such as romance, murder mysteries and classics. I also love the outdoors and find myself spending almost all of my down time singing in the car driving to beaches, parks or bush walks. 

Originally from Tasmania, I moved to the Gold Coast in 2017 to study teaching. In 2020, once graduated, I moved to Melbourne to teach at a senior college. Whilst in Melbourne I am still teaching students through A Team Tuition, as well as still being a part of the management team as a Resource Development Officer. I chose to become a teacher because I have a passion for uplifting others and helping them to harness their potential. Helping others is something that has always motivated me, and it is something that has physical and emotional benefits for not only those that are getting help, but those that are giving it. I wanted to choose a career that would satisfy me for life, and I know that teaching others will continuously be challenging, rewarding and ever-changing.

My current position as a Head of Resources allows me to take my resources and skills from working in education and expand the information that A Team can easily access! I am great at staying organised and critical thinking . I feel that another strength of mine is my passion for teaching.
