Harrison Reed

Hello!

My name is Harrison and I am the one of the Academic Specialists at A Team Tuition!  I consider myself to be positive and creative and love video games, comic books, trading card games and professional wrestling – not in that order. I have two gremlins … I mean, cats … by the name of Azrael and Razael, and regularly perform on the Queensland Independent Wrestling scene as Chad Atlas.

My current position as an Academic Specialist allows me to truly help students . I am very flexible and never accept the status quo. I feel that another strength of mine is my passion for helping people and students who have been left behind or disadvantaged. I chose  a career in education out of my background in surf lifesaving. I had been a coach and trainer for many years, and I wanted to continue that as a career. However, after being in and working in a classroom, I decided that being a teacher wasn’t what I wanted to do and I feel that I am able to really help student’s in this role.

Along with being an academic specialist, I am also a tutor. I feel that the reason I am a great tutor is that I love finding new and creative ways to assist people in ways that are sustainable for them.
