Vocational Tutors
Not all kids want to go to university the TAFE at School program opens doors into their chosen career. Our private tutors understand that not all children are focused on ATAR. Our vocational tutoring helps your child achieve two important milestones - high school graduate and TAFE Certificate holder. As Australia continues to align its curriculum, we assist students to gain their HSC, VCE, QCE, SACE or High School Equivalency diploma while helping them to study the vocational coursework through the TAFE at School program. We believe that every child, given the right support and strategy can achieve their goals. We work with your child to overcome their unique barriers and to develop the right mindset for learning. What's the Difference? SSCE, HSC, QCE, VCE and ATAR
The Senior Secondary Certificate of Education is the standard term for a "High School Graduate" certification in Australia. Despite Australia's movement towards a national curriculum, Australian states each have their own certification terminology. ATAR is the national standard for entry into universities in Australia, similar to the SAT Test in the USA. ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank) subjects studied in any state contribute to a student's performance on a national level. ATAR is not a high school certificate, rather a ranking system for university admission.
In New South Wales, the senior certificate is referred to as HSC (High School Certificate) in Queensland it's the QCE (Queensland Certificate of Education) and in Victoria, it's the VCE (Victorian Certificate of Education). For early school leavers, the Senior Studies Certificate of Education can be attained through the Australian TAFE system or university entrance may be based on Certificate Level studies in your chosen field. Yes, the move to a National Curriculum is happening, but in the meantime, there's a lot of jargon for parents and adult learners to sift through. Yes, it's overwhelming, but your Senior Certificate, no matter what it's called, is a truly rewarding accomplishment. We're here to help you make it happen.

... What Our Clients Have To Say ...
His tutor had instant rapport with him and was able to get him to open up about things we had no idea on (despite asking what we thought were the right questions!). Our son’s teacher has already mentioned how much more focused he is and that his attention to detail is improving. We are really very impressed with A Team Tuition.
Not only do the team at A-Team improve grades, they also focus on the underlying skills and qualities of character required to continue on the right path in life.
Emily is my son Joseph’s Academic Personal Trainer! Emily’s patience and ability to work with Joseph has allowed him to change his black and white thinking. This has provided opportunities for Joseph to get better marks in Year 10!
Alongside greatly encouraging improvement in his academic results, the most outstanding and important outcome has been enhancement of his self-motivation and drive, and even more importantly, development of his self-confidence.
In our experience, what we have found is the A-Team are prepared to be flexible (they really do look to provide the right tutor to the student) and are genuinely committed. A-Team are able to mentor and develop other key forms of aptitude, including emotional and social forms of intelligence.
