Elyse McFarlane

Hello, my name is Elyse!

I’m currently majoring in Zoology as a part of my degree and studying at UQ. I love learning about animals and working at A Team Tuition in order to develop my teaching skills. I’m confident in my own teaching and ability, encouraging and not one to back down from a challenge. My hobbies and interests include martial arts and Dungeons and Dragons.

I am currently studying a degree of Science/Secondary Education. I chose this degree to pursue a career as a high school science teacher, particularly focusing on Biology and Psychology.

My strengths include Science, Maths and Economics and working on student confidence and understanding. I feel that I am a great tutor because I work to understand why someone may be struggling in their schooling and always try my best to make my students feel great when they understand content or hand in an assignment where they improved their work.
