ABOUT ME
Hello, my name is Mitchell!
I consider myself to be a very creative person. I have a very strong passion for music and cinema and I aspire to create my own some day. I love sharing ideas and spreading knowledge (especially abstract and useless facts that no one really needs to know). I also love my sport with a particular passion for football, however I am also keen on basketball, volleyball and futsal.
My key personality traits are my charisma, enthusiasm, passion, compassion and professionalism. I often pride myself on my ability to be all of casual, fun and professional at once. and Going to concerts and seeing local bands perform is my absolute favourite thing in the world. Although I both sing and play the guitar, very poorly, getting up on a stage and playing some very amateurish music to a crowd of 20 friends and family members is my ultimate dream. I live for cinema, most sports, hanging out with my friends and camping around a fire pit.
I am currently studying a Bachelor of Laws. I chose this degree because I’ve always been really interested in problem solving and debating so I saw this degree as a pathway into a challenging and exciting career in the courts. My main strength is I face everything with an open mind. I refuse to be judgmental and always explore alternate perspectives on everything. I like to think of myself as someone who people feel comfortable around and are unafraid to freely express themselves around. I love to learn about what makes each person unique so that I can connect with my students individually and be fun and easy to engage with on a person-person level.
My specialty in tutoring comes from my respect and compassion for everyone I come across. I always make sure I am easy to engage with and that my students always feel like they are on the same level with me. I always describe myself as nothing more than a tool to my students’ success. I believe mutual respect and rapport is the most important thing in getting across to someone. My balance between professionalism and informality is how I aim to achieve this.
I love learning, I love teaching and I love inspiring success in all my students.
